Let's Talk About Electro Music

Why do I do so many different things? Why not just stick to one thing, like painting. To just be a painter and nothing else. The reason why I did not was just a coincidence, because I just love doing so many different things. When I began doing these things, I began doing painting first. It was really fun, but then I started writing, filmmaking, songwriting and producing, blogging, and photography all at the same exact time!

Why did that happen? It was fate, I guess. I just wanted to do them all. It just sounded like really fun, like an impulse to do something fun. I did them all. I wrote a book, produced an album using a home computer and a microphone, I produced a short film with actors, I blogged, and I took some amazing photos of sunsets in Southern California. I was hooked, and I haven't stopped doing any of it, since then. I have just been having too much fun to stop.

Electro Music

What kind of thought process is going into my Electro Music?

I would highly recommend taking the MasterClass course on Electro Music by both DeadMau5 and Armin Van Buuren, if you are interested in learning more about making it. However, the thought processes I used were intuitive and that of shooting for aesthetic appeal.

I often just enjoyed playing with the bass, for example, to make it sound different in a million different ways. I knew that that would be enjoyable to listen to in a large crowd setting.

I shot for the remixes to have some kind of music that wasn't just like an escape for the eardrum, but something familiar that people would enjoy listening to. I was hoping to make some music people could dance to, with them. I think I succeeded with that, definitely.

What kind of software did you use?

I actually challenged myself to use Audacity on 100% of the album. It wasn't that bad, and I am very proud of the results so far. I think that I would do it like that again.

What were you picturing when you wrote this music?

I was picturing a world where everyday people were attending a music concert the way that I would, an electro music concert. Basically, it sounds pretty awesome when everyone is gathered around, and I pictured myself at a music festival like Ultra Music Festival or something, playing the tracks and blowing people away with the vibrations from the speakers. Also, I think the remixes make a nice break from the intensity.

When do you plan to release the album?

I have been working on the album since May of 2018, so I think that it could still be a while. I like to work on albums for a long time, before releasing them. Stay tuned.

When do you plan to release the remixes and how?

I was just going to release them on YouTube. I was going to see if there was a record label that would publish the album, otherwise I will self release it and it will be available on Spotify, Amazon, Itunes, and all of the major retailers online.

What Is the Real Purpose of the book Legend by Asher Foxx?

It is a pseudonym, but it was also a stage name. I tried using several different names and now the one I am sticking with is Michael Bajorek. There were pros and cons to that. In the past, people who recorded under different names in a studio, for example, were often overlooked for it as popular artists. However, they also later achieved recognition. The truth is they received recognition the whole time. Anyway, that was the fear that using different names would hinder my recognizability among people, making it hard for them to know who I was and that I had a history of making art, for a while. That fear faded, but many of the names remain dispersed throughout my work.

The book Legend by Asher Foxx, who is me by the way, is actually a book for all ages. It sounds like a children’s book to some, but it was written for all ages. The personification of animals has long been used in children’s books and movies, no doubt setting the perceptional tone that that was the case.

It documents the life of some bears and animals in the wilderness, who actually experience many human emotions and somewhat human experiences, something that’s often not so far fetched in the real world.

But when some poachers tranquilize them and put them in a zoo, they have to escape to regain their freedom and set out for the home from where they came.

It’s kind of like the movie Homeward Bound maybe even at some points. I liked that movie when I was young. It was sad at some points, heartbreaking. The part where the golden retriever is stuck in the mud pit and keeps slipping. That part was really sad.

Anyway, what I like about that kind of story is the adventure of surviving in an environment that is different than the normal environment in which we live. It’s like surviving on the run at times, escaping danger, rescuing others, and living to tell the tale, returning to a normal life where you had normal experiences, and then you have them again, once you return.

This book is about half the length of my novels, being a novella. That being said it is a complete story , and it is well worth it to read. I hope that you enjoy it! Thank you for reading and following.

Why Do I Paint, and What Mediums Do I Use?

The medium I use the most often is Acrylic paint on canvas. I paint because it is fun for me, I am passionate about it, and it adds brightness to the atmosphere of the world and whatever location where it sits.

Why Do People Keep Art Around?

Art adds to the atmosphere of a room. It elevates the aesthetic appeal of a room, and it raises the apparent value of the room. As human civilization first developed, one sign of the rise of quality of life was art on the walls in homes that later developed into a style similar to a gallery.

Why Does Art Add to the Atmosphere of a Room?

Anything adds to the atmosphere of a room. All colors have a frequency vibration that they are reflecting. All atoms that are in existence have positive and negative energy ions. When you walk into a room, all of those frequency vibrations of the colors and all of the positive and negative energy ions are present in a physical way. You can literally feel them. In addition, whatever energy was put into creating something is also held within things. In other words, if you were happy when you created something, that thing will emanate happiness as energy.

Whenever I paint, I am always extremely happy, intrigued, amazed, and impressed with all of the things in life. This energy is held within all of my paintings. That way, if someone ever chooses to hang one in their business or home, it will emanate all of those feelings and cause similar feelings in the owner. Those are only a few of the feelings I experience, but they are all positive. Negative energy is hardly held in something like a painting, because it doesn't hold well in anything that is created by people. The nature of negative energy is intangible and exists only temporarily.

Why Do I Use Acrylic?

I use acrylic because it is what I have available, and it is easy to use. This stress free energy is built into the paintings, and they would relieve stress. I don't want to guarantee a health benefit, but they are all very stress relieving in nature.

What Goes Into the Books I Write?

I write books for leisure. Reading them is a leisurely activity. At the same time, I usually try to make it worthwhile in a way that will enlighten the reader or make them know more about the world, at times. At other times, I write about things that are just enjoyable to read about, and don't have any connection to real life.

Writing to Move People

I want people to feel things. I want them to feel things that they don't always feel, when they read my books. I like experimenting in my writing, as well. I like experimenting with comedy and with extravagant imagery. I like taking people places, places they have never been before or places they have been before.

Writing to Provide an Escape

I like to allow people to escape. To see things they have never seen. To go places they have never gone. To imagine things they have never imagined. With the power of words on paper, stimulating the brain. Transporting the reader to incredible destinations.

Character Development

I like building characters off of vague and stereotypical ideas, similar to cartoons or children's movies. I also like using the auras of real people in my protagonist or protagonist associated characters. The reason for this is that I don't like to label people as "bad" or "villainous" in real life. However, I often admire them and view them as heroic protagonists. Therefore, the villains in my books often are stereotypical or vague in nature, and they represent ideas rather than actual people. It is a misconception to believe that they are racist or demeaning to any particular group. It is only a misperception that is unavoidable when writing. No matter who the villain would be, it would be insulting in some way to a person or group of people.

Writing to Explore

I often explore when I write. The reader, when reading, is reading a mental exploration that occurred while I was writing, at times. That is really fun for me, because it is completely intangible. You can't hold the art in a book that I have written. You can only hold the book. You can hold the words on the page, but the book itself is intangible. It is within your own mind and my mind, the connection of which is the words on the page. That experience both fictional, mentally explored, inspired by reality, and real should all be shared from one person to another. I believe Margaret Atwood said something like that once about the words on the page.

Writing to Share

As I said before, it is about sharing experiences. This is similar to story telling, and Native American stories had a very big influence on me.

Painting a Wolf in Class

Here is what it was like painting this wolf in class. I used a wisp brush as well as a round tipped small brush. I used a liner brush for the whiskers, but it wasn't as good as with the tiger. That liner brush was much better. Stay tuned for more interesting things. Thank you for becoming a part of my creative world!
